Important information about the 3 technology download files
Participants that have just installed their certified v3.0 data collection application should immediately download and import all 3 files into their application. Failure to do so may result in your application not functioning properly.
The NCDR™ may wish to expand the medications that should be collected in your data collection tool. The NCDR™ will notify all participants when the required medications have changed so the new medication file can be downloaded and imported into your application. Failure to import the appropriate medication file will result in missing medications and your data submission file being rejected.
If a closure or intracoronary device is missing in your data collection application, first check to see if the device exists in the download file. If the device appears in the file, then re-import the file into your application to make the device available for selection. If the device does not appear in the file, contact the ACC to have the device added to the file.
Your data collection tool was purposely designed so that the medication, closure and intracoronary device files can be re-imported into your data collection application at any time. If you are not certain if you have imported the latest version of these file then re-download and re-import all 3 files into your application.
There is an effective date associated with each medication, closure device and intracoronary device that should be collected. Only medications and devices in effect at the time of the patient's date of admission should be collected and/or available for selection in the application. The new medications and/or devices may not appear in your application until after the effective date.
